Our first Festival of Heroes since 2019! We are back!

Festival of Heroes 2023 will be hosted by Fae Nectar Meadery, in Lake Lure, NC. Keeping with the tradition of past FoHs, this experience is not just a tournament but is truly a "festival". Over the course of the day, you can expect a variety of whimsical offerings showcasing art & crafts, food & beverage, and many forms of entertainment from fire spinning to live music.

Our tournament will commence early in the day using a swiss pair bracketing system. Spectators will come and go as we run through pools until the mid afternoon. When pools are finished, we will take a 2 hour break before semi-finals begin in the early evening. (Exact times will be posted closer to the event date.) Semi-finals and finals will be accompanied by Mike the Viking as MC and live medieval/fantasy style music. This is where we become the main event and give the crowd and unforgettable experience. 

The entire tournament will use a mixed weapon, 2v2 "brawling" style setup. Sign up with your battle buddy, or come solo and we will find you a partner.

Fighters!

Due to the limited registration capacity, we will not be able to accommodate everyone who wishes to register. It is for this reason we are having fighters complete the "Fighter Registration Request" form below. If you are selected to participate, you will be notified and prompted to pay the sliding scale registration fee of $25-$65.  All fighters will be given vouchers for a meal and a beverage. Please read the Festival of Heroes Rules and the Warriors of Ash Club Rules BEFORE REGISTERING.

If you do not wish to fight in the tournament, but want to take part in the event, please fill out the "Volunteer Signup" form below. This event takes a lot work, volunteers are what make it happen. All volunteers will be given vouchers for a meal and a beverage.
